Switchblade Entertainment Group has teamed with Extra Virgin producer Frank to develop and produce unscripted content across all media.

Under the exclusive partnership, Switchblade, which was launched earlier this year by Brian FlanaganAnthony Amoia and Michael Amoia, will make available its full-service production house in New York as the two firms work to expand Switchblade’s current content offerings with original unscripted programming across the culinary, home, travel and lifestyle landscapes.

The deal will see Switchblad’s Flanagan and the Amoia brothers with Frank producers Dan Connell and Pasquale DeFazio.

With more than 15 years of experience, Connell has previously developed content for such networks as TLC and Food Network, as well as Cooking Channel’s Extra Virgin (pictured), for which he won the James Beard Award for best culinary program in 2015.

DeFazio, meanwhile, has developed, produced and directed series for broadcasters including ABC, Cooking Channel, Food Network and MTV.

Since February, Switchblade has confirmed three new series and five pilots across such broadcasters as Food Network, FYI, Travel Channel and MTV International.
