Viacom-owned network Spike UK has acquired adventure series Boy to Man (pictured) from London-based sales house Beyond Distribution.

Originally produced by Australia’s Seven Productions for American cable net Travel Channel, the series¬†is slated to broadcast in the UK as Wildman: Extreme Adventurer.

The 12 x 60-minute series follows award-winning filmmaker and adventurer Tim Noonan on a solo journey across the globe to meet some of the world’s least known tribes. Beyond has also sold Boy to Man to France 5, Discovery CEEMEA, RTL Germany, SBS Discovery Sweden, YLE Finland, RUV Iceland and Blue Ant Media and Canal Evasion in Canada.
