Upstart London indie Youngest Media has appointed Stuart Shawcross as director of entertainment.

Formerly the creative director for Victory Television, he will head up the independent entertainment studio’s format development strategy.

He has created formats such as the BBC’s The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List and Channel 4′s Five Minutes to a Fortune and Benchmark. He also launched the live play-along app for ITV’s Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Youngest Media was founded earlier this year by former Endemol Shine UK execs David Flynn and Lucas Church.

The company’s first commission is the dating series Game of Clones for E3. The series gives singles access to the latest avatar building technology to virtually create their perfect partner. The show’s dating database then scours the country to find 10 suitors who match. They will then enter into a house together with the original participant.
