Producer Dan Korn has joined A+E Networks UK as vice president of programming.
Formerly a creative director overseeing specialist factual at STV Productions, Korn (pictured) will source and schedule content for the company’s UK channel portfolio, which includes History, Lifetime, Crime + Investigation and newly launched free-to-air net Blaze.
The position is effective Oct. 31 and Korn will report to Heather Jones, UK general manager and senior VP of content and creative.
STV Productions is based in Glasgow and London and is behind the game show Catchphrase and the BBC series Antiques Road Trip. Prior to joining STV, Korn spent 10 years as senior VP of programming at Discovery Networks UK & Europe, overseeing programming and production across 24 channel brands in 30 countries.
Korn’s hiring follows the recent appointment of Kenny Reynolds as VP of creative.
