UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a three-part docuseries tentatively titled My Miracle Wedding from London-based prodco Raw TV.

Each episode of the hour-long series will focus on two couples marrying in the face of some of life’s toughest challenges, from a bride committed to regaining the power of speech for her vows, to a groom hoping to make it down the aisle after losing his eyesight.

Raw TV’s head of UK factual Richard Bond serves as exec producer on the series, which will be launched at MIPCOM by Discovery Program Sales.

“This series celebrates triumph over adversity and following these amazing couples in the run up to their big day is emotional, heart-warming and uplifting,” said Bond in a statement.
