Multi-territory prodco Global Business Mapping (GBM) has taken interactive studio-based format Who’s Asking? to the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia.

The game show (pictured), which is produced by United Studios of Israel and distributed by Armoza Formats, was most recently commissioned in the U.S. and Switzerland, where it started airing on RTS in September. Localized versions of the format also air across Israel, India, Thailand and Estonia.

The 30-60-minute series isn’t so much focused on the questions participants must answer as it is on who’s asking them, whether it’s the bus driver, their doctor, or a streetwise grandma. Instead of picking the type of questions to be asked, two pairs of contestants must select an “asker” from the faces presented on a screen in front of them. The conestatnts must make judgements based on appearances, using their intuition to compete for the grand prize.

In a statement, Juraj Barabas, managing director at Global Business Mapping, said he believes that successful adaptions of the format will be brought to screens in each of the territories.
