Wilshire Studios, the unscripted arm of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, has secured an overall deal with Emmy-nominated producer and showrunner Aliyah Silverstein.

Under the deal, Silverstein (pictured) will be charged with creating, developing and producing original unscripted projects for the prodco.

Silverstein most recently exec produced the live Mr. Robot after-show, Hacking Robot, for Wilshire Studios on USA Network. 

In addition, Silverstein has overseen four seasons of Bravo’s comedic docuseries The People’s Couch and has previously served as showrunner for NBC’s Hollywood Game Night, Sundance TV’s Emmy-nominated The Writers’ Room, Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America and TLC’s Trading Spaces.

Other credits include VH1′s Behind the Music, ABC’s Wife Swap and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen.

Silverstein is repped by ICM Partners. 

Wilshire Studios, which develops and produces engaging and innovative non-scripted, original programming for all media platforms, has been focused on growing and diversifying its slate to include docuseries, news programming, reality and competition formats.

Currently, the prodco produces E!’s The Soup, Fashion Police, E! True Hollywood Story, Ice Loves Coco and Giuliana and Bill. The shingle has also produced such series as the GSN game show Baggage, Esquire Network’s Women We Love, BBC America’s The Nerdist and Logo’s Scandalicious.
