Russian broadcaster Channel One has commissioned docuformat The Story of My Life from Netherlands-based Talpa Media.

The talk show-makeover hybrid series (pictured) features celebrity couples as they embark on a time-travel journey into the future. Professional make-up artists will age each couple 25 and 50 years to determine what they think and how they will react to seeing their loved one age.

The Story of My Life has been commissioned for a full season order on Dutch broadcaster RTL4 and Germany’s VOX for later this year.

It’s fantastic to see one of our key launches receiving such great feedback at MIP, with two immediate commissions and many more currently in negotiation,” said Talpa Global MD Maarten Meijs in a statement. “We’re thrilled to bring this talk show with incredible makeovers and honest interviews with celebrities to Russia with Channel One.”
