Ahead of the premiere of Discovery Life’s parenting docuseries Project Dad tonight (Nov. 1), realscreen presents an exclusive clip of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment-produced program.
The series follows Chappelle’s Show comedian Donnell Rawlings, Days of Our Lives actor Daniel Cosgrove and DJ Skribble of MTV’s TRL as they take on the role of solo parent while their partners vacate the home for a well-deserved break.
Originally produced by Korean Broadcasting System, the series will shadow the three celebrity dads as they struggle to balance parenting and pursuing their full-time career over a 48-hour period.
It is the second television series from Chicken Soup to air on a cable network in just two years, and, according to company executive chair William J. Rouhana, Jr., more will follow.
“The show adds to our library of inspirational and entertaining content, and we expect the show to resonate with all audiences,” said Rouhana, Jr. in a statement.
Project Dad premieres across Discovery Life Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, before bowing on sister network TLC on Jan. 5, 2017.
