Duck Dynasty creator Gurney Productions has appointed veteran executive producer and showrunner Mike Odair (pictured) to the newly created position of senior VP of creative affairs.

Reporting to company principals Deirdre Gurney and Scott Gurney, Odair will be responsible for overseeing the company’s development and production slate, managing series across USA, Spike, A&E, E! and Discovery Channel.

His past credits include A&E’s Duck Dynasty, Discovery’s Boss Hog, MTV’s The Buried Life, My Ghost Story, Discovery’s Fat N’ Furious: Rolling Thunder and TLC’s Leah Remini: It’s All Relative. Odair most recently co-created WEtv’s Ghosts in the Hood in collaboration with Gurney Produtions.

Odair, who is represented by APA, previously held production roles with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Upper Ground Enterprises and 3 Ball Productions.
