Israeli producer-distributor Armoza Formats has upped Michal Itzhaki to the newly created role of acquisitions manager.

Itzhaki (pictured) will oversee the firm’s acquisitions efforts across all aspects of distribution rights, relationships with key content providers and content selection.

She initially joined Armoza in 2015 as a sales executive for the Nordic region and Africa.

Itzhaki has previously worked with Israeli channels and prodcos for more than 10 years, having previously worked across productions for Keshet, Reshet and Israeli cabler HOT, where she managed the acquisitions, marketing and promotional strategies for its local and international channels.

Most recently, she worked at Tel Aviv-based cross-media technology firm Applicaster, where she worked closely with channels from Latin America, Europe and Asia to help connect their programming to digital interactive products.

“We look forward to bringing Michal’s extensive knowledge of the industry and acquisitions, along with her passion for TV, into this new role and are confident that she will open up even more opportunities for our company,” said Armoza Formats CEO Avi Armoza in a statement.
