A+E Networks Latin America has closed a deal with indie distributor TVF International that sees the broadcaster pick up two factual series for one of the world’s fastest growing media markets.

Included in the sale is Innovation Nation, seasons four through six, the Daytime Emmy-winning CBS series hosted by Mo Rocca (pictured) that showcases present-day change-makers from all over the world who are creating solutions to real needs.

A+E also bought The Military Tech Show (12 x 30-minutes), a new series from the UK revealing the latest military innovations — from lightweight but highly protective body armor, to futuristic helmets enabling fighter pilots to see in the dark, or even through their own planes — that are shaping the present and future of the armed forces.

The deal comes on the heels of MIPCancun, a three-day summit and content market dedicated to TV programming in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market which ran earlier this month in Cancun, Mexico.

“Latin America was one of our fastest growing markets last year and this doesn’t look likely to change,” said Harriet Armston-Clarke, head of sales at TVF, in a statement. “There is a huge appetite for quality factual programming and we are delighted to be finding these blue chip series from the U.S. and UK such a prestigious home in the territory.”
