Travel Channel has given the greenlight to a spin-off series set to hunt for the best booze spots.

Taking off from the original Jack Maxwell-hosted show Booze Traveler (pictured), the upcoming iteration, titled Booze Traveler: Best Barswill take viewers on an all-American journey to discover the best booze joints the country has to offer.

Based on the success of the first show, the Scripps Networks Interactive-owned channel is giving Maxwell’s fans a new experience through Booze Traveler: Best Bars, in which he will travel the length and breadth of America to discover its best drinking holes.

The original show was a global travel series, in which Maxwell traveled the world sharing cocktails with interesting people, with each episode featuring a new global location.

“The new series is a great opportunity for our viewers to rediscover well-known American cities by getting an inside look at the best neighborhood bars,” Courtney White, senior VP of programming at Travel Channel, stated in a release.

Production on the show kicks off in December, with the 10 x 30-minute series scheduled to debut on the channel in Spring 2017.

Season three of Booze Traveler, meanwhile, premieres across Travel Channel on Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
