Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution (WBITD) has promoted Roni Patel to senior VP of sales for the Nordic, Benelux and Middle East regions.

Previously VP of sales for the same regions, she will continue to head up licensing of WBITD series, feature films, made-for-TV movies and animation to free and pay-TV outlets and VOD platforms.

Patel is based in London and reports to executive VP for Europe, Middle East and Africa Robert Blair.

“She has done an admirable job at navigating the complex evolving television landscapes by identifying, developing and managing new windows and business models to grow our businesses,” said WBITD president Jeffrey R. Schlesinger in a statement.

Patel joined the company in 2007 as director, sales for Benelux and Middle East and was promoted to VP two years later. Prior to that, she spent 11 years in sales at the Walt Disney Company.
