Mark Sammon is scheduled to step down from his role as managing director at Fresh One Productions as the culinary-centric company restructures its programming focus.

Sammon departs the Jamie Oliver Media Group-owned prodco as the company shifts its core business strategy to concentrate on Jamie Oliver-specific television projects in an attempt to drive growth across all key parts of the media group.

Food Tube and other Jamie Oliver Media Group digital platforms will continue to use a mixture of Jamie Oliver-fronted series, alongside other notable talent, to deliver projects and work with commercial partners.

Having joined Fresh One in 2013 from Storyvault Films, Sammon had previously launched culinary-inspired series including W Network Canada’s Pressure Cooker, ITV2′s Bad Bridesmaid, BBC1′s Len and Ainsley’s Big Food Adventure, and Disney’s First Class Chefs.

“I’ve had an amazing three years working at Fresh One and have created some shows I am very proud of,” said Sammon in a statement. “With Jamie Oliver Media Group focusing on driving the Jamie Oliver brand across all platforms, it is the perfect time for me to move on. I wish Jamie and the entire Jamie Oliver Media Group team huge success in the future.”
