Sundance reveals Trumped

The 2017 Sundance Film Festival has added the world premiere of Trumped: Inside the Greatest Political Upset of All Time from directors Banks Tarver, Ted Bourne and Mary Robertson to its festival line up.

The documentary provides an in-depth look at one of the biggest political upsets in American history. The film offers unprecedented access and never-before-seen footage of President-elect Donald Trump, from the primaries and debates to the realization that the businessman will become the 45th President of the United States.

This year’s Sundance Gestival will present 120 feature-length documentary and fiction films, representing 32 countries and 37 first-time filmmakers, including 20 in competition. The 2017 festival takes place in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort from Jan. 19-29.

Power Entertainment names LatAm sales rep

Purecom-owned Power Entertainment Media has re-appointed 7A Media CEO Cesar Diaz to represent and sell its catalog of miniseries and television movies across the Latin American region via his company.

Diaz will continue to exploit the London-headquartered company’s expanded catalog across new, existing and emerging distribution platforms and channels in the territory.

Power’s catalog now incorporates Purecom’s other investments into its own, including Nature Conservation Films World Wide, the award-winning producer of high-end blue chip wildlife programming.

The company intends to build on both the quantity and quality of its programming assets and catalog, expanding further into factual, format and reality-driven programming via its creative incubator, The Hot House.

Warner/Chappell Production Music opens CPM catalog to U.S., Canada

Warner/Chappell Production Music has made the CPM Music Library, one of the largest production music catalogs, available for licensing in the U.S. and Canada.

The CPM Music Library – formerly Carlin Production Music – is comprised of more than 40,000 tracks spanning three series: main series, archive series and classical series.

Warner/Chappell Production Music first took ownership of the catalog in 2010, and has since represented the collection outside of the US and Canada. The company now represents CPM worldwide through its global offices and sub-publishing relationships.
