French distributor Kabo International has acquired format distribution rights for three interactive shows from Finnish entertainment outfit Reflect.

The formats engage audiences through a number of interactive elements that use VR and mobile devices.

The first title acquired is Tilt (pictured), a game/talk show hybrid that pits celebrities against each other in VR games. Airing on Finland in TV6, Tilt first debuted in 1997, but recently transitioned to VR in 2016.

Together takes on the role of couple’s councillor, using a new app to help young couples resolve their relationship problems. Couples perform special tasks as the app tracks their progress towards creating a more harmonious union.

In High Score, contestants step into the e-sports arena through a series of video game challenges, ranging from simple party games to immersive VR experiences. Viewers at home are invited to play along with a selection of games made available to play on mobile, connected TV, and VR platforms.

“As the TV landscape continues to evolve in line with viewer demands, VR and interactive entertainment are taking center stage. Reflect as a company is one step ahead of the game and the technologies they use give audiences a truly immersive experience. We are very excited to add these titles to our slate and look forward to presenting them to buyers,” said Arabelle Pouliot-Di Crescenzo, managing director, Kabo International in a statement.
