A town steeped in automotive history is the stage for the new unscripted series from Hoff Productions entitled Detroit Steel.

Adam Genei and his team at car customization shop, Mobsteel, continue the long tradition of Detroit-bred automotive innovation by creating custom cars for auto enthusiasts.

Parts are gathered from collections to garbage heaps, and sometimes the team builds parts themselves, doing whatever it takes to restore four-wheeled relics to their former glory, or create something entirely new.

The series readies for its premiere on Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on History and runs for eight episodes. This series is executive produced for Hoff by Michael Hoff, Bruce Klassen and Alex Hoff. Executive Producers for History are Stephen Mintz and Tim Healy.
