Munich-headquartered distributor Red Arrow International has elevated Harry Gamsu to the new position of VP of non-scripted, a role where he will oversee all non-scripted and factual programming.
In his new position, Gamsu (pictured) will handle all aspects of Red Arrow’s non-scripted business across both new and catalog properties while acquiring content from third party producers, broadcasters and platforms. Additionally, he will also work with Red Arrow’s International’s sales team to drive channel groups sales. He reports to Bo Stehmeier, senior VP of global sales at Red Arrow International.
Gamsu, previously the VP of format acquisitions and sales, takes on the position at a time when Red Arrow is seeking to grow its factual programming, alongside the acquisition of formats for Red Arrow International and optioning formats for prodcos within the broader Red Arrow Entertainment Group.
“Having a strong head of non-scripted has become an important development for us as we partner with more international production and broadcast companies, and work with an increased number of non-scripted producers to grow both our factual and formats catalog,” said Red Arrow International MD Henrik Pabst in a statement.
Red Arrow International has been growing its factual portfolio with the launching of Motive to Murder, Giant Constructions: The World’s Most Spectacular Bridges and Man v. Viral, produced by Nerd TV for Channel 4 and National Geographic Channels International.
Red Arrow International, part of Red Arrow Entertainment Group, is a global TV distributor of scripted, factual and formatted shows with in-house production companies around the world, third-party producers and digital-content partners.
