Production company Lucky 8 TV has named Bruce Robertson as EVP of creative strategy, while adding two new directors to its development team to oversee the company’s growing roster of new original series.

In Robertson’s (pictured) new role, he will oversee Lucky 8′s development and creative strategy. He will also work with the company’s partners to foster a creative culture of the business as it grows, be responsible for building Lucky 8′s portfolio and expand the creative team in Los Angeles.

Robertson was previously the EVP of creative strategy at ITV Studios America. During his tenure at ITV, the company’s unscripted development slate expanded exponentially with series roll outs including E!’s #RichKids of Beverly Hills, Cesar 911 for NatGeo Wild and NBC’s Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris.

Lucky 8 has also named Zach Perkins and Rachael Profiloski as directors of development. They will report to Jason Bolicki, VP of development. Perkins will oversee all new internally funded development projects and Profiloski will focus on content directed by networks.

Before joining Lucky 8, Profiloski was a senior producer and director of development at Part2 Pictures, where she directed and produced projects including CNN’s This is Life with Lisa Ling and four seasons of OWN’s Our America with Lisa Ling. Perkins has developed series for networks including History, Discovery, Science and ID, and was previously senior director of development at NorthSouth Productions.
