Netflix has acquired the U.S. rights to the docuseries Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue from U.K. distributor Drive.
The series (2×60) takes audiences into the world of British Vogue, as now outgoing editor Alexandra Shulman and her team prepare for the magazine’s 100th-anniversary edition.
Netflix previously picked-up Angus McQueen’s, First Contact: Lost Tribe of the Amazon from Drive, a documentary originally produced for U.K.’s Channel 4.
Lightbox has previously produced the streaming service’s 2016 original series, Captive, a show that explores hostage situations and negotiations around the world.
Since it’s inception in 2013, Drive has secured sales, funding and provided consultancy for clients including Raw TV, Barcroft Productions, October Films, Blink, yap films and Lightbox. In 2016 the company launched a distribution division, Drive Media Rights.
