Executive producer and Aftermatch host Terrence Jenkins has secured a first-look production and talent deal with Viacom-owned sister networks MTV and VH1.

The two entertainment networks have optioned Jenkins (pictured), through Jenkins Entertainment Group, to develop and exec produce original content across the scripted and unscripted genres. He will also provide on-air hosting duties throughout the year for VH1 and MTV for tentpole pre-shows, live events, aftershows and original series.

Jenkins has previously served as host of BET’s 106 & Park over a seven-year period before going on to co-anchor international celebrity news program E! News and host the Miss USA 2016 pageant, where he was also listed as co-producer.

In addition to his hosting duties, Jenkins has appeared in myriad scripted films including Think Like a ManThink Like a Man Too and The Perfect Match.

Jenkins is repped by WME, Flavor Unit and Fox Rothschild.

“We’re excited to have Terrence J join the MTV and VH1 families in both executive producer and on-air capacities,” said Amy Doyle, GM of MTV, VH1 and Logo, in a statement. “His past work has earned him fans around the globe and we know he’ll bring his signature voice to our brands.”
