Israeli producer-distributor Armoza Formats has announced the release of a new primetime format, The City Inspector.
Each week a host will put a new city under a microscope. A team of agencies scout the city, assessing its benefits and downfalls. At the end of each episode, the city’s final score is revealed in front of its residents, along with its successes and recommendations for making a meaningful change.
An original production from the Ukraine by 1+1 Media Group-owned channel, this deal marks the first acquisition agreement between 1+1 and Armoza Formats.
Locally titled Inspector Freymut – Cities, the investigative show recently aired a successful first season during primetime. It became one of the top three most-watched shows in the country during its run, according to a statement from Armoza.
The format is the first of Armoza’s MIPTV slate to be launched.
