Israeli producer-distributor Armoza Formats has announced the release of a new primetime format, The City Inspector.

Each week a host will put a new city under a microscope. A team of agencies scout the city, assessing its┬ábenefits and downfalls. At the end of each episode, the city’s final score is revealed in front of its residents, along with its successes and recommendations for making a meaningful change.

An original production from the Ukraine by 1+1 Media Group-owned channel, this deal marks the first acquisition agreement between 1+1 and Armoza Formats.

Locally titled Inspector Freymut – Cities, the investigative show recently aired a successful first season during primetime. It became one of the top three most-watched shows in the country during its run, according to a statement from Armoza.

The format is the first of Armoza’s MIPTV slate to be launched.
