Helen Cooke has been named head of popular factual at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s production company, Studio Ramsay.

Cooke will be tasked with developing formats and factual entertainment projects across all platforms for the UK and the U.S. She will work with Chris Brogden, chief creative officer and the London team to build on the company’s slate when she joins the prodco, a joint venture with All3Media, later this month.

Prior to joining Studio Ramsay, Cooke was at Channel 4 for two years, working first as features commissioning executive before being named features editor, commissioning Rescue Dog to Super Dog and Peter Cook and Dudley Moore: The Missing Sketches. She also oversaw the brands George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, Shed of the Year and Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, OCC Country House Rescue and OCC USA.

Before joining C4, Cooke was a commissioning editor at UKTV and a freelance producer at Betty for C4′s Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. She also worked on brands such X Factor and TOWIE for ITV before moving to Mentorn as an executive producer.

“I have had an amazing time at Channel 4, but the time has come to return to production, and working with Gordon and Chris at Studio Ramsay was too good an opportunity to miss,” said Cooke in a statement.
