Wilshire Studios, the unscripted arm of Universal Cable Productions, has signed a development deal with television producer and showrunner Troy Vanderheyden.

Vanderheyden (pictured) has worked on E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Simple Life; Bravo’s Project Runway; MTV’s The Real World; Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club and its spin-off Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too.

Wilshire Studios recently announced the hiring of Emmy-winning executive producer BJ Levin as SVP of development and a first-look deal with rapper Iggy Azalea to create content designed to reach a millennial audience. The studio also inked an overall deal with Emmy-nominated producer and showrunner Aliyah Silverstein.
