Beatriz Setuain has been named director of Imagina International Sales, the media content distributor of Spanish producer, Mediapro Group.

Setuain rejoins the company, having previously worked as head of film sales for Imagina in 2008.

Most recently, she led international sales at Boomerang TV.

In her new role, Setuain will report directly to Laura Fernández Espeso, international content director.

As part of a management team reorganization, executive Esther Agraso has been upped to head of sales. Agraso joined the distribution company as sales executive for multiple territories, after developing her career at Boomerang TV. She has more than 10 years of experience in the audiovisual sector.

Agraso will head Imagina’s commercial department under Setuain’s direction.

Setuain and Agraso’s appointments are part of Mediapro’s goal of strengthening Imagina’s catalog and expanding the group’s content in international markets, said Mediapro in a statement. This will mean more appointments for the company in the future.

Mediapro Group is boosting the development of original products and the coproduction and international distribution of rights in order to strengthen the content area of the company.

Imagina International Sales is the international distribution arm of the Mediapro Group, featuring a catalog of more than 300 titles including TV series, feature films, programs and documentaries like Arrelats and The Lightbulb Conspiracy.
