UK pubcaster Channel 4 has ordered a three-part series set to provide exclusive access into the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

Produced by Oxford Scientific Films, A Very British Hotel (3 x 60 minutes) will provide insight into the European flagship of the prestigious luxury brand Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group during its busy summer season when the hotel receives an influx of high-paying international guests and weddings.

The docuseries is set to feature the vacationing exploits of Hollywood A-listers such as Morgan Freeman, while also following a flamboyant Chinese wedding, observe the staff catering for overseas Royalty and hosting celebrity events.

Additionally, film crews will follow world-renowned chef Heston Blumenthal, his executive chef Ashley Palmer-Watts and the team at two-time Michelin-starred restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal as they launch a new dish.

A Very British Hotel, which is scheduled to broadcast next month on Channel 4, is exec produced by Emma Morgan¬†and series directed by Anna Llewellyn. It was commissioned by C4′s head of documentaries Nick Mirsky.
