Chef, restauranteur and host Geoffrey Zakarian is launching a new production company focused on food and lifestyle content.

Corner Table Entertainment will produce both unscripted and scripted projects for television and the digital space. It’s a partnership between Zakarian Hospitality and Key Group Worldwide.

Zakarian is on the Food Network as an Iron Chef, a judge on Chopped , a co-host of The Kitchen and a host of primetime series Cooks vs Cons.

The New York-based company is currently creating new and original unscripted formats in the game, docu and competition genres. The company’s studio will be used to foster and develop new ideas for television, web and mobile, according to a release.

Corner Table Entertainment produces Zakarian’s SiriusXM talk show, Food Talk, which takes place at select food festivals and marquee events around the country. Guests have included Martha Stewart, Bobby Flay, Giada DeLaurentiis and Rachael Ray.

“My entire career has been bringing to life various situations and elements through a hospitality lens. Now with a decade of experience in TV, I am excited and ready to bring media content and shows to life in the same way. For sure, the time is right and I have an experienced and respected partner, Key Group’s Jaret Keller, a former New Line Cinema executive,” Zakarian told realscreen.
