In this week’s round-up, new seasons are on the way for series on Turbo and Discovery, RTLII, BBC1, HGTV and BYUtv. 

A new season of collector car Chasing Classic Cars (pictured) is back with archeologist Wayne Carini who investigates countless leads and forges through old barns, garages and warehouses to uncover untold automotive stories. Chasing Classic Cars airs March 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Turbo and Discovery Channels globally.

A second season of Armoza Formats modeling reality competition Curvy Supermodel has been picked up by Germany’s RTLII. Produced by Tresor TV, Curvy Supermodel looks to change how we define beauty, in a nationwide casting show that searches for the face of the future with power, style and curves.

A sixth season of Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief (formerly Let’s Dance) is slated to air on BBC1. The celebrity performers will face three live heats before a live grand final on Saturday, March 25. Hosted by The Great British Bake Off duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, the team will bring their comedic double act to the show with access to all areas of the celebrities backstage. The viewers at home and the judging panel will decide who makes it through to the final and the public vote to crown their winner, all in aid of Comic Relief. Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief airs March 4 on BBC1.

HGTV has renewed seven of its popular lifestyle series: Beachfront Bargain HuntCaribbean Life, Island Life, Mexico LifeIsland HuntersHawaii Life and Beachfront Bargain Hunt Renovation. In all, the network has commissioned 146 new episodes of the seven series. The new episodes are slated to air on HGTV in 2017.

Returning for a second season is the competition show Relative Race on BYUtv. The ten-day road trip beings in Miami, Florida and ends in Boston, Massachusetts with the first team to cross the finishing line first winning $50,000.  BYUtv is a partnership with Ancestry, the largest provider of family history and personal DNA testing services and Lenzworks, a reality television prodco. Relative Race airs March 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on BYUtv.
