U.S. cable net Discovery Channel is slated to document Gold Rush star Parker Schnabel in a three-part docuseries as he ventures into the frozen north to take on the Klondike Gold Rush trail.
Produced by Raw Television, Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail will capture the 22-year-old’s journey as he treks across the Coastal Range to the Klondike region of the Yukon in northwestern Canada to experience the migration of the prospectors before him who made the perilous trip between 1896 and 1899.
Joining Parker on his expedition will be his foreman Rick Ness, wilderness guide Karla Ann, who once worked with Parker as a rock truck driver; as well as cameramen and long-time friend James Levelle, who has known Parker for years.
Raw TV’s Dimitri Doganis and James Bates serve as executive producers, alongside production exec Ceri Smith and series producer Simon Gilchrist. Discovery Channel’s Matthew Vafiadis is exec producer while Greg Wolf is associate producer.
Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail premieres March 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
