Factual entertainment channel Insight TV has completed production of its new 4K UHD adventure game show, Living Stone

Produced in partnership with Dutch prodco Strix Television, Living Stone takes five couples on an adventure through Botswana. Contestants hike challenging terrains as they come face-to-face with the forces of nature: heavy thunderstorms, extreme heat and daily encounters with wild animals.

Throughout the show, they take part in games to compete to stay together as a couple. If they lose a game, it could mean they lose their partner, end up in a remote camp in exile or the competition. After eight treks, two couples’ face-off in a thrilling grand finale.

Living Stone combines the format engine of the adventure reality genre with the breath-taking landscapes you would normally only see in wildlife documentaries,” said Roy Aalderink, CEO of Strix Television, in a statement.

Then new series will be shown in 4K UHD on Insight TV’s SVOD service from April 2 and on the platforms Vodafone Portugal, Vodafone Spain, Swisscom and Tricolor all in UHD. Insight TV is showcasing Living Stone at MIPTV in Cannes, April 3 – 6.
