London-based factual television prodco Dragonfly has appointed Tom Pullen, current head of factual development at London-based Eleven Films, as an executive producer.

In this new role, Pullen will work closely with creative director Richard Bond. He will generate new business, new program ideas and opportunities while executive producing new projects. Pullen will also directly report to Bond when he takes up his role in mid-April.

At Eleven, Pullen was responsible for upping the factual side of the business and developing a slate of projects including an upcoming four-part docudrama series for UK’s Channel 4.

He also spent three years at Raw as development executive and producer/director of documentaries including The Missing, Teens and the forthcoming Cutting Edge, all for C4.

Pullen previously worked at Dragonfly — part of the Endemol Shine Group — from 2010 to 2014 in various producer, director and development roles on projects including One Born Every MinuteThe Sinking of the Costa Concordia: Caught on Camer for C4 and The Town Taking on China for BBC2. 

Pullen also worked at BBC Factual, Walker George Films and Maverick Television working across a range of genres.
