CMJ productions, a global production company specializing in factual series, has received a greenlight series order from FYI.

The Know it All Guide to…(12×30) is the Montreal-based company’s first deal with FYI, and will be co-produced with Blue Ant Media. The series, pictured, showcases the secrets and weird science behind the world’s most popular foods, uncovering all the “are you kidding me?” facts, tricks and taste-science that makes our favorite foods so irresistible.

“We are most pleased that our first series agreement with FYI is for the company’s first program focusing on delectable tidbits about the food we all love to eat,” said John Kuyk, CMJ Productions’ CEO and executive producer said, in a statement.

The agreement with FYI represents the third network deal for CMJ this month.

At the beginning of March, Investigation Discovery greenlit CMJ’s series Guilty Rich (6×60), which delves into the lifestyles of super-rich criminals.

And earlier this week, the prodco announced that its new series Outlaw Tech received a first season six-episode order from Science Channel. The show goes inside true stories of crazy heists and epic crimes where biology, physics, chemistry and biology are tools of the trade.
