Paris and L.A.- based producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group has inked a deal with National Geographic Mundo.

The broadcaster has picked up the documentary Those On The Other Side from Prime’s catalog, to be aired in the U.S. and the Caribbean. The feature doc follows ordinary Mexican families living on both sides of the border.

“We’ve had in the last year a growing success with our catalog in North America,” said David Freydt, MD of Prime, in a statement. “We like the programs we distribute very much and we’re happy they suit the needs of so many prestigious channels, especially in the U.S.”

Prime recently signed several deals with TV channels in the U.S. including Sony AXN, AMC Sundance and Reelz. Discovery recently picked up the docuseries Einsatzgruppen The Nazi Death Squads from director Michaël Prazan.

Nat Geo Mundo was launched in 2011 broadcasting in American Spanish for an U.S. audience.
