FremantleMedia International (FMI) has elevated Michela Di Mondo to the role of SVP, sales and distribution for FMI Canada.
In her new role, Di Mondo will head up the Toronto-based office where she will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to up the potential of all FMI finished programming and format content across all platforms in the Canadian market.
She will report to Lisa Honig, SEVP, international distribution for FMI in North America.
Di Mondo joined FMI in 2014 and went on to help launch the Canadian office. She brokered key deals in both English and French languages.
Previous to working at FMI, Di Mondo was the executive director at Media Group International (MGI), where she oversaw sales for studios such as Sony Pictures, MGM and FMI. Prior to MGI, she worked for MGM in Canada.
“With her abilities to react creatively to the changes in the market, trends and evolving technologies, and her innovative deal-making skills, Michela is well placed to push our ambition and commitment in the Canadian market,” said Honig, in a statement.
