Armoza’s OVO gets first deal in Germany

OVO, Israeli indie creator and distributor Armoza Formats’ new emotional factual entertainment format, has been taken in Germany by Good Times.

This agreement marks the first deal for the format, as well as the first time that the German production company and the Israeli independent have partnered.

During each season of OVO, an egg-shaped “confession booth” is placed in 10 different city centers. Participants who enter the booth can share intimate stories and feelings. In what is meant to be a calm and private space, OVO will ask questions and listen to what the people of each city have to say.

Silverlining bridges the age gap

UK-based distributor Silverlining Rights has picked up a new social experiment format that sees two groups of people from opposite ends of the age spectrum move into a fully rigged house to see if they can bridge the generation gap.

Mind the Age Gap, a 5 x 60′ series, has been produced by GPs: Behind Closed Doors indie Knickerbockerglory.

Participants in the series  tackle everything from politics and race to diets, death and dating during their interactions in the house.

Mind the Age Gap premieres on Channel 5 in the UK on Channel 5 on May 8, 10 p.m.
