All3Media America has named Carly Becker to the newly created position of vice president of corporate development.

Becker currently works with All3Media’s UK team, where she’s been for nearly four years. In her new role, Becker will relocate to the Los Angeles division.

As VP of corporate development, Becker will work with All3Media leadership to evaluate potential investment opportunities while working closely with the UK executive team to ensure all investments are aligned with group corporate strategy.

From the All3Media London offices, Becker was critical in recent deals including the acquisition of British prodco Two Brothers Pictures, the backing of factual and drama producer Two Halves Pictures and the group’s investment in digital start-up Little Dot Studios.

Prior to joining All3Media, Becker worked in strategy at British news producer ITN and investor Ingenious Media.

“Carly has played an important role in the corporate development team in All3Media and she has worked on deals ranging from the acquisition of the group by Liberty Global and Discovery to more recent start-ups and acquisitions,” said All3Media CEO Jane Turton, in a statement. “Her contribution has been of huge value and having her based in Los Angeles is a sign that we are now concentrating hard on building the U.S. business.”

Yesterday (May 10) was Becker’s first day in the Los Angeles offices.
