Over-the-top digital service Olympic Channel has launched the in-house produced surfing documentary Shredding Monsters.

The 45-minute film, which premiered Friday (May 26) at the 2017 ISA World Surfing Games in France, follows a group of professional surfers as they ride what is expected to be the biggest swell of the year in the Portuguese fishing village of Nazaré. Featured in the doc are Garrett McNamara, Jamie Mitchell, Hugo Vau, Andrew Cotton and Alessandro Marciano.

Shredding Monsters is available today (May 26) on the Olympic Channel mobile app and at olympicchannel.com.

The big wave surfing doc is an Olympic Channel Production, and marks the channel’s first film dedicated to the sport of surfing which will debut at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
