Aussie pubcaster SBS has picked up a local version of Filthy Rich Homeless.

In the series, five wealthy volunteers agree to swap their privileged lifestyles for the streets of Melbourne.

Those preparing to live among Australia’s homeless are: self-made millionaire Tim Guest; Kayla Fenech, daughter of boxing champion Jeff; beauty entrepreneur Jellaine Dee; bar baron Stu Laundy; and model and Sydney socialite Christian Wilkins.

The group will have their phones, ID and money taken away from them in exchange for second-hand clothing and a sleeping bag.

Filthy Rich Homeless is produced by Blackfella Films for SBS in association with Screen Australia and with assistance from Film Victoria. It is based on a format created by The Great British Bake Off‘s Love Productions, broadcast by the BBC and distributed by BBC Worldwide.

Filthy Rich Homeless will air over three nights on SBS starting June 27.
