Ahead of the premiere of Investigation Discovery’s hour-long special, Bill Cosby: An American Scandal on tonight (June 5), realscreen presents an exclusive clip from the project.

Produced by Weinstein Television, American Media Inc. and Jupiter Entertainment, the one-off provides a comprehensive deep dive into Cosby’s rise to fame, the drama that enveloped his family and the more than 50 women who have come forward in recent years with allegations that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them.

The special will feature exclusive interviews friends of the Cosby family, as well as the women who have come forth in recent years with the criminal allegations.

Interviews include actress and artist Lili Bernard; ex-girlfriend Shawn Brown; Gloria Allred, the attorney currently representing 33 Cosby accusers; The Cosby Show director Chuck Vinson; Ronald L. Smith, a Cosby biographer; The Washington Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia; legal analyst Beth Karas; clinical psychologist Dr. Judy Kuriansky; investigative journalist Mark Ebner; National Enquirer editor-in-chief Dylan Howard; and attorney Jarrett Ferentino.

Bill Cosby: An America Scandal premieres across Investigation Discovery June 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, on the eve of his criminal trial for the alleged 2004 assault of Andrea Constand.

Executive producers for the special include Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein, Patrick Reardon, Stephen Land, Allison Wallach, Matt Sprouse, David Pecker and Dylan Howard. Investigation Discovery’s Pamela Deutsch is senior executive producer.
