BBC3 gets extra serving of Eating With My Ex

UK digital studio Shotglass Media has been commissioned by BBC3 to produce a full series of Eating With My Ex, which went out as a successful pilot last year.

The show sees exes meeting up over dinner to discuss their relationship, see where it all went wrong, and explore whether there’s still a spark.

“This is a really engaging series about people and their relationships,” said James Cooper, executive producer, with Shotglass, in a statement. “We were taken aback at how honest and raw people were, even in front of the camera, and we’re looking forward to delivering a full series for the BBC3 audience.”

Eating With My Ex is available to watch on BBC3′s YouTube channel today (June 26).

BBC2 searches for  Love in the Countryside

BBC Entertainment has commissioned Love In The Countryside for BBC2.

The series follows a group of singletons working and living in the countryside as they search for a potential partner with whom to share their rural lives.

Host Sara Cox (pictured) joins the couples as they get to know each other. While the small-town residents show the realities of living in the countryside, the urban love seekers grapple with the wild outdoors.

Love in the Countryside is a 6 x 60′ series produced by Boundless (part of the FremantleMedia UK). It was commissioned by Patrick Holland, controller of BBC2; Kate Phillips controller of entertainment, and Rachel Ashdown, commissioning editor for BBC Entertainment.

Boundless executive producers are Hannah Wyatt and Kat Lennox, and Rob Clifford is series editor.
