Veteran executive producer and showrunner Mike Odair has joined Superjacket Productions as senior VP, head of creative.

Reporting to Superjacket’s principles Rob Dyrdek and Shane Nickerson, Odair will oversee the company’s development and production initiatives.

Most recently, Odair worked as SVP, creative affairs at Gurney Productions. He’s served as executive producer on Duck Dynasty for A&E, Leah Remini: It’s All Relative for TLC, and recently co-created and executive produced Ghost In The Hood for WEtv.

“Mike is one of the best creative executives in unscripted,” said Nickerson, in a statement.  “His extensive format experience combined with his smart comedic sensibility make him a huge asset to the Superjacket team.”

Odair, who is represented by APA, previously held production roles with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Upper Ground Enterprises and 3 Ball productions. Superjacket is represented by WME.

Superjacket was formed by Dyrdek and Nickerson in 2013, building upon the success of shows such as RidiculousnessFantasy Factory,  and Rob & Big (which followed Dyrdek during his career as a professional skateboarder).
