British pubcaster BBC1 has commissioned a six-part comedy entertainment series from Argonon-owned firm Remedy Productions.

Each 30-minute episode of Ready or Not will feature a roving team of hosts heading out to test the knowledge of unsuspecting individuals on the streets of Britain through a series of rapid fire questions to win cash or prizes on the spot.

Kate Phillips, controller of entertainment, ordered the series for BBC1. The commissioning editor is Kalpna Patel-Knight.

For Remedy, Jim Regan (pictured, left) and Matt Tiffin (right) serve as executive producers for Ready or Not. Series producer is Stuart Harrison. Paul Young serves as series director.

“There’s never been a better time to produce entertainment in Scotland and it’s great to be at the heart of that with a fantastic family format like Ready or Not,” said Regan, head of Remedy Scotland, in a statement.
