NBCUniversal’s International Studios’ Yvonne Pilkington has stepped down from her role as SVP format sales and production.

According to a statement from the company, Pilkington, who has spent the majority of her career in the television business, has decided to pursue her own creative goals and will soon be starting a masters degree in creative writing.

During her time at NBCU, Pilkington worked on series such as Dance Your A** Off, Average Joe, For Love or Money and Age of Love.

A spokesperson for NBCUniversal International Studio’s said the company will replace Pilkington “in due course.”

Pilkington had been with the Comcast-owned international branch of NBCU since 2009, starting in the role of VP of format sales.

Prior to joining NBC, the exec held senior positions at Eyeworks Distribution and All3Media International.
