Multi-platform media brand Fuse Media is readying a new series based on UK pop culture game show Blink.

Produced by Zig Zag Productions, Trivial Takedown will premiere this fall with 20 half-hour episodes.

As with its UK counterpart, each episode will feature two celebrity contestants competing to identify music and pop culture icons.

Alongside the series, Fuse will give viewers the opportunity to test their own pop culture knowledge with polls and trivia on a second screen mobile offering.

Digital originals, talent interviews and segments pulled from Trivial Takedown will also be part of Fuse-branded content, distributed on Complex Networks, as part of the recently announced cross-platform partnership of the two media brands.

“With its focus on music and pop culture in the voice of the millennial generation, Trivial Takedown is the perfect game show vehicle for Fuse’s expanding slate,” said J-T Ladt, chief content officer for Fuse Media. “Those elements align with our ongoing commitment to create multi-platform content that can continue to live beyond linear programming.”

Trivial Takedown is produced by Ben Paul and executive produced by Danny Fenton and Andy Scott of Zig Zag Productions.
