On tap for this week’s Renewed and Returning are new seasons for shows on TLC, Nine Network and Discovery Channel.

On TLC, a second season of Kindred Spirits returns with ghost hunters Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, who help people tormented by paranormal activity in their homes. Produced by Paper Route Productions, Kindred Spirits premieres Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Also on tap at TLC, is a second season of Nate & Jeremiah By Design. Produced by Asylum Entertainment, the series follows interior designers and husbands Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent as they help distressed homeowners turn renovation failures into dream homes while juggling their family life.

The Nine Network has confirmed a second run of Twofour’s travel entertainment format, This Time Next Year. The series follows a group of determined individuals, ready to pledge a year of their lives to pursue extraordinary personal challenges.

As they leave the studio through the “this time” door and re-appear moments later through the “next year” door, audiences instantly see the results of their year-long work and effort.

Finally, Discovery Channel returns with the final season of Edge of Alaska (pictured), premiering Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Produced by Twofour America, the series returns to McCarthy, Alaska, where a local businessman has decided to sell off the entire town to the highest bidder. The residents will have to see if they can stay for good or be forced to flee to find solitude somewhere else.
