Fox Networks Group UK (FNG UK) has upped Shoshana Wilson (pictured) to head of program and scheduling, while Jeff Ford will exit the London-based network.

Following a career spanning over 40 years, Ford will retire and step down from his post as FNG UK managing director and senior VP of original content Europe and Africa at the end of the year.

Ford initially joined the organization in 2015 and has been “instrumental in the success” of FNG UK’s business, said Diego Londono, COO of FNG Europe & Africa, in a statement, having created and launched the company’s original scripted content strategy for the region.

He will continue to work with FNG Europe & Africa in a consultancy capacity through the first half of 2018 to deliver on FNG’s original content strategy.

Wilson, meanwhile, will move from the role of director of global acquisitions to head of program and scheduling, with oversight of all programming and scheduling for FNG UK’s channel brands, which include Fox, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and YourTV.

“Shoshana has been an incredibly important part of our European programming team and I’m delighted that she will be stepping up into this new role, to focus solely on our UK business, as we create some of our most ambitious schedules for our British viewers,” added Londono.

While no replacements have yet been announced, replacement searches for Ford and Wilson’s vacant positions are currently underway, with further details to be announced in the coming months.
