Electus president John Pollak has been elevated to the role of president, worldwide television and international.
Reporting to Electus CEO Chris Grant, Pollak (pictured, left) will oversee the global rollout of Electus’ scripted and unscripted content, including development, production and current programming, as well as international copros. He will continue to lead Electus International – the company’s global business.
Before joining Electus in 2012, Pollak was EVP and head of worldwide sales at Shine International, managing global sales and distribution of programming from across the Shine Group companies. Prior to that, Pollak was SVP of international distribution and creative affairs at Reveille. There, he also worked for Grant and helped launch Reveille International in fall 2003 – now known as Endemol Shine International.
Elsewhere, Max Levenson (pictured, right) has been promoted to vice-president, current and development. In his new role, Levenson will shepherd the development and production of Electus’ unscripted and branded content across various platforms. He reports to Pollak.
Levenson and his team have developed projects for broadcasters including ABC, FOX, NBC, Food Network, and have titles currently in development at various broadcast, cable and digital networks.
Before joining Electus, Levenson worked at Authentic Entertainment – a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America – assisting on series including Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Toddlers & Tiaras and Flipping Out.
