On tap for this week’s Renewed and Returning are new seasons of series for Nat Geo, Discovery, A&E and more.

First up is a new season of StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson which returns Oct. 1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on National Geographic.

Produced by Curved Light Productions and National Geographic Studios, the new season of the science-based talk show features conversations and scientific commentary with famous faces including Katy Perry and Jane Goodall.

On Discovery, Richard Rawlings and his crew return for a new season of Fast N’ Loud, premiering Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Produced by Pilgrim Media Group, the series follows Rawlings and his team as they search for dilapidated vintage cars to buy and restore.

A second season of A&E’s Live PD returns Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. From Big Fish Entertainment, Live PD (pictured) spotlights the U.S. police force, following different departments across the country in real time as they patrol their communities.

Destination America is bringing back a new season of the paranormal focused A Haunting. Premiering Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the series showcases stories of supernatural activity.

Elsewhere, Smithsonian Channel’s investigative series Air Disasters: High Rise Catastrophe returns Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The Cineflix Productions-produced series follows the fatal crashes of airplanes and the investigators at the scene who have to figure out the clues in the aircraft’s final descent.
