ITV is prepping a series in which celebrity guests, experts and the public test the newest must-have holiday gifts.

Produced by Banijay UK company RDF, the three-part factual consumer series How To Spend It At Christmas, aims to help the audience navigate their shopping woes.

TV presenter Philip Schofield and his guests will review, rate and recommend a series of items, with the goal of helping shoppers complete their gift buying on time and on budget.

The series will cover a range of subjects, from buying for individuals who are hard to please, to the best festive food to serve.

The series is executive produced by Dan Barraclough and Jim Allen for RDF and commissioned by Priya Singh for ITV. It will be distributed internationally by Banijay Rights.

How To Spend It At Christmas will air later this year.
